Highlights: Since 2003, over $27 million in new building construction and renovation projects have been completed, including the new $6.5 million Andrews Hall - The Center for Performing Arts, $6.5 million Malnik Family Athletic Center, $3.2 million Schmidt Family Science Center, and $8 million Moabery Early Years Learning Center. The school has also constructed a new headmaster's residence and erected a chickee chapel, a symbol of school heritage. We are excited that the new Moabery Early Years Learning Center and renovations of the Nina and Edgar Otto Lower School Campus are LEED Certified, the Moabery Early Years Learning Center LEED for Schools certified at the Gold Level. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental design (LEED) Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high-performance green buildings.

School History

The Episcopal School Foundation chartered Saint Andrew's School in 1961. The Rev. Hunter Wyatt-Brown, Jr. (Headmaster from 1962-63) and Eugene Curtis, Jr. (Headmaster from 1964-71) led the effort to secure the land and funds necessary to build the school. Many in the community came forward to support the project, most notably Lucy and Alexander Henderson, who gave the majority of the funds needed to start the school.

Honor Code
When a student behaves in a manner that is inconsistent with Saint Andrew's community standards, it is the responsibility of the School to educate the student about inappropriate action. It is our hope that students and their families constructively accept discipline and will recognize that life-long lessons can be learned from mistakes. Parent Organizations
Saint Andrew's is blessed with having three parent organizations; the Saint Andrew's Parents' Association; Friends of the Arts; and the Booster Club. Each organization has a specific mission to support your children and the school.
Every parent of a student at Saint Andrew's School is a member of each organization through the parent organization fee. This fee allows each organization to provide both you and your children an enhanced experience through events, programs, and gifts to the school. We encourage you to become an active member by volunteering your time and talents to one or all of these wonderful organizations.
