Lower School
A "campus within a campus"

The Nina & Edgar Otto Lower School Campus includes the Moabery Early Years Learning Center. This 60,000 square foot leading-edge facility was designed especially with the unique needs of younger students at Saint Andrew's School in mind. With three sections of each grade level (JK- Grade 5), Saint Andrew's commitment to two experienced teachers in each classroom speaks to its pledge to educational excellence. In addition to the homeroom teachers, specialists in other fields teach performing arts, visual arts, technology education, science, physical education and foreign languages. A nutritious lunch is served in the Weprin Family Student Center where students and faculty of the Lower School gather for chapel twice a week. With an 9:1 student to teacher ratio, education in mind, body, and spirit is the focus of the entire Lower School program.
We are excited that the Moabery Early Years Learning Center and renovations of the Nina and Edgar Otto Lower School Campus are LEED Certified, the Moabery Early Years Learning Center LEED for Schools certified at the Gold Level. The Leadership in Energy and Environmental design (LEED) Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high-performance green buildings.
