Every school needs involvement from the school community--from alumni, current parents, parents of alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, trustees, and other friends--in order to thrive, and Saint Andrew's is no different. Fortunately, there are many opportunities for you to become involved and support our school.

So how can you help? The answer is two-fold: through financial support and active participation.

Financial Support
We hope, as virtually every independent school does, that you will contribute to the Family of Annual Funds to the extent that you are financially able. We also hope that you will support the school's financial need to grow our endowment, ensuring the financial stability and vitality of Saint Andrew's, and participate in periodic capital campaigns that support building needs.

Active Participation
We also hope that you will also take an active part in your child's education, perhaps by being involved in the classroom, attending events, volunteering to help out with projects when needed, sponsoring activities, or by taking part in the organizations that work for the benefit of our students, such as the Saint Andrew's Parents Association (SAPA), Friends of the Arts (FOA), the Athletic Booster Club (BC), or the Saint Andrew's School Alumni Association.

The combined efforts of many enable Saint Andrew's to continue to deliver the best possible education in mind, body, and spirit.

Funding a Saint Andrew's Education
Gifts from generous donors to the Annual Fund are vital because tuition alone does not cover the full cost of educating a Saint Andrew's School student. Saint Andrew's, like most independent schools, relies on a tradition of giving to offset operational expenses. Read more
Annual Fund
Each year, Saint Andrew's School conducts an Annual Fund Campaign to raise funds that are necessary to maintain and enhance the excellence in education provided to students--funds that meet the operating expenses of the school not covered by tuition. Tuition alone covers approximately 80% of these expenses. Read more
Capital Giving
Often the school undertakes special Capital Initiatives to raise funds to refurbish, expand, or construct a building. These projects require the financial support of many donors whose combined resources enable Saint Andrew's to successfully fund and complete a project. As a way of recognizing and honoring donors, many naming opportunities are available to those who support Saint Andrew's in this way. Read more
Endowment
The growth of the Saint Andrew's School endowment is one of the school's highest priorities. With a larger endowment, Saint Andrew's has greater flexibility and ability to respond to economic cycles and has additional resources to attract and retain the best and brightest students and faculty. Endowment funds support scholarship, academic chairs, professional development, academic programming, facilities, and various other needs that fall within the mission of advancing Saint Andrew's School.
